Klumpies is a very high quality 3D animated series, intended for pre-schoolers, principally 5 to 7 year olds.

The Klumpies are a tribe of little people (about 8 cm tall). For hundreds of years, they’ve lived hidden from the rest of the world in the branches of the Pipple-tree, an enormous tree that towers over all others in the forest.

At the heart of the show is a group of four friends; the Klumpy Kids: Bertie and Sunny Blink, Chip Blunk and the snooty Ella Klump. All live in the Pipple-tree together with their respective parents.

Despite their different backgrounds, the Klumpy Kids are firm friends and enjoy all activities open to young Klumpies: roaming the forest, climbing up and down the Pipple-tree, playing with their pet mice or snails. Super active and energetic, they’re up for anything that’s fun, as long as it doesn’t harm other Klumpies or jeopardise the forest environment.

But that doesn't mean that the Klumpies don't have time to get into and out of all kinds of mischief...particularly when they fall four of Mulk, a never-do-well ex-Klumpy who lurks in the swampland down by the river.

The scripts will pass through the hands of well-known writers like Chris Trengove, Diane Redmond and Jimmy Hibbert who between them have a vast body of experience in developing and writing children's animation shows, including worldwide smash hit "Bob the Builder". This centralised scriptwriting structure will ensure that plots and themes are not repeated during the run of 26 episodes, and that action, setting and dialogue are well integrated. Special attention will be paid to dialogue, to ensure that it will work when translated into any language.
