Nelly & Caesar is a gentle, exploratory show for 2-4 year old pre-school children that combines concepts with fun, discovery with familiarity, appealing characters with colourful natural settings, in a series whose simple but intriguing storylines will hold the attention of even the youngest viewers.

Nelly and Caesar are very young animals with innocent child-like features: Nelly is a mouse and Caesar is a frog. As best friends, they live together and discover the world around them. Their awesome discoveries range from the natural world with its dramatically changing seasons, what things are called, the time, changes of temperature, the development of their perceptual awareness, and laws of nature: what goes up... must come down! Nelly and Caesar also have a delicately balanced, inner emotional world where they experience sadness, joy, fear, jealousy, and anxiety.

In each stand-alone episode, Nelly and Caesar's adventures will always emphasize positive values such as friendship, happiness, amazement, joy, or excitement.

In every five-minute episode, Nelly and Caesar bring together state-of-the-art 3D digital animation with the skills of traditionally trained animators, in a show inspired by Ingrid Gordon's best-selling picture books.
