The Panic Show is a mini-thriller for children 6–9 years old. This ‘deliciously scary’ series is intended to dispel the recurrent fears and phobias that children experience (monsters in the wardrobe, fear of heights, anxiety of going back to school, superstitions, etc.) by playing on humour and the thrill of goose pimples. 

Everything starts in the village of Roquebrume with the arrival of the mysterious Dimitri Valensky, a comedian, a storyteller and a great traveller. Under his big top, the village children eagerly listen to his stories because Valensky’s great storytelling talent takes them right to the heart of his story, into worlds both weird and wonderful. Little Leo is feeling far from safe: He’s a bit of a scaredy-cat, jumps at the slightest noise and his imagination often plays tricks on him. But he is also very determined and full of curiosity. To not lose face in front of his friend Anaïs, a little girl who knows how to keep cool and isn't easily frightened, he is determined to find out what happens. 

In each episode Dimitri Velensky gets one of the village children to tell him about his or her fears. This is the starting point for a story told by the master storyteller. As soon as he starts telling the story, Leo and Anaïs's friend is transported into a parallel world that is distorted by his own fears. Through their involvement, Leo and Anaïs, our two heroes, will find a way to accept, explain and even to overcome their fears.
