The EBU Children's Drama Series, aims at the production of high quality, original dramas for an audience of 6 to 9 year olds.

The stories feature 8 to 9 year old children - of all social milieus - who participate actively in their own and others' lives. With a  minimum of dialogue, the story is told through strong emotions that the young audience can empathize with, and a chain of actions and reactions.

Ongoing since 16 years, the series is based on the principle "Make one, take all", that is, each broadcaster produces one episode and receives the others for free. The only other cost is a contribution to a central budget covering the executive producer and EBU coordination costs.
