Midnight Circus is a global pool of arts and entertainment TV segments to celebrate the New Year, produced and shared by a consortium of international broadcasters. Each participant offers one or more segments and has the right to broadcast the whole collection. 

From world-renowned artists to up-and-coming new talent, from music and dance to folk art, acrobatics and New Year ceremonies, the performances featured in our compilations represent a wide range of artistic styles and traditions.

Segments are broadcast around the world by members of the consortium; they are usually featured in a New Year special, but may also be presented on a different occasion during the whole year.

In geographic and cultural scope Midnight Circus is a unique undertaking in television: it provides broadcasters with an exciting programme involving multiple locations and performances; challenges local producers to create original pieces for a worldwide audience; creates a platform to showcase performing artists from very different traditions; and offers national audiences an entertaining programme that fosters understanding and respect for other cultures. 

For the cost of producing a segment and a limited coordination fee, participants can enhance their New Year's offer.
