The huge majority of human everyday life is automatic. We all agree that we do not need to switch on our consciousness to pick up the coffee cup from the table, while we keep on reading the morning paper, while we keep on listening to the tune on the radio, while our thoughts already revolve around the 100 things on our schedule for today.

We do a thousand things a day unconsciously, automatically. Some, because we have learnt to do those tasks without even thinking of them, some, because something that we call gut feeling forces us to do them in a certain way. Most things in life are automatically managed by our beautiful brains. Our brain hates to waste the huge amount of energy that consciousness costs.

But what, if our intuition, our gut feeling, our mind‘s multi-tasking and the incredible auto-pilot-systems of our brains come to fail? We will spill the coffee cup over the breakfast table, only because the phone is ringing at exactly the same microsecond or the cat is licking our bare foot in that very moment. If such things happen on a bigger scale, we read about them in the papers: Chernobyl was allegedly tracked down to human failure. The killing of an innocent Brazilian in London tubes by ill-fated anti-terror policemen. The bombing of allied troops in Iraq War. The crash of the stock exchange due to intuitive sales of one stockbroker. The crash of a plane in Athens during landing. The headlines will tell us: due to human failure.

ColourFIELD Tell-a-vision is a well known German production company with a very strong visual style. Eurovision TV has been having a long-lasting relationship with them. Other stunning programmes by ColourFIELD include "Beautiful minds, voyage into the brain" and "The virus empire".
