Skin color has been at the origin of endless wars, discrimination laws and practice, unaccountable sufferings throughout the world. The concept of "race" among humans has probably killed more people than any other conflict.

What if we could, at last, spread the word, backed by renown scientists around the world, that we are all part of the same big family but that we simply adapted to our environment, developing unique ways to survive and reproduce?

Charles Darwin was right when he observed that evolution in nature is mostly related to sex and reproduction. Human skin colour is no exception. Now, exciting discoveries show that the rainbow of human skin colours provides a perfect balance of chemical compounds that are crucial to our survival and reproduction. Skin colour is now able to tell a fascinating biological tale.

The personal accounts of people across the globe, support what science tells us about the evolution of skin colour: it is an adaptive response to the environment, highlighting that discrimination based on skin colour is not only socially dangerous and unacceptable, but also scientifically wrong.

This documentary belongs to both scientific and society slots. Aiming at prime time and meant for a wide audience, the programme will take viewers on a journey around theworld, meeting numerous ordinary people and renown scientists. After viewing this captivating documentary, we guarantee that viewers will be once more amazed at mother nature and above all, will never feel the same about skin colour again.
