"Science Bank" is a high-quality schools science-based television educational series comprising a first series, already produced and delivered, of 10 episodes and a second series of 6 episodes, each of duration of 15 minutes. It is a coproduction coordinated by the EBU. The three series were financed by some of Europes's major public-service broadcasters and produced by Yorkshire Television Limited.

The first series was financed by HU/MTV, Teleac/NOT, C4, RAI, STR/UR, SF-DRS, YLE.
The second series was financed by Teleac/NOT, RAI, STR/UR, YLE, NRK and YTV.
The third series was financed by YTV, Teleac/NOT, RAI, YLE and RTVSLO

Each Science Bank programme consists of three related video clips featuring a combination of:

• Experiments and demonstrations which teachers find difficult to carry out themselves in schools. These stylishly lit demonstrations are shot for clarity and include plenty of close ups, allowing time to explain the practical equipment and experimental procedure. 
• Real life applications of the science processes complement the demonstrations by placing them everyday contexts and environments that students can relate to.
• Computer graphics illustrate and animate explanations of principles and processes.
